Before You Cruise
For permanent Hong Kong residents:
Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card

* Note: permanent Hong Kong residents under 11 are required to show,
i) HKSAR Re-entry Permit; or
ii) HKSAR passport and Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card *

For non-permanent Hong Kong residents:

Yes if you need to do the online check-in 30 days prior to departure, your passport need to be valid for more than 6 months, and with photo.
No. Guest who were out of Hong Kong in the past 28 days and Guests who are affected by “Government gazettes compulsory testing notice” and required to undergo COVID-19 nucleic acid test, will not be allowed to get on board until all required testing procedures are finished and result negative.
All guests aged 12 and above should be fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to boarding, whereas “Fully vaccinated” refers to:

1. Sailing before 8 February 2022, guests aged 12 to 17 are required one dose of Sinovac vaccine or Fosun Pharma/BioNTech vaccine.

From 9 February 2022, guests aged 12 to 17 are required two doses of Sinovac vaccine or one dose of Fosun Pharma/BioNTech vaccine

2. Guests aged 18 and above are required to have received two doses of Sinovac vaccine or Fosun Pharma/BioNTech vaccine at least 14 days prior to boarding.

You have to undergo a COVID-19 PCR nucleic acid test using samples taken through combined nasal and throat swabs, with test specimen collected within 48 hours prior to boarding and obtain a negative result (Note 3).

You are required to use the "LeaveHomeSafe"mobile application to scan the QR code of the cruise ship before boarding (Note 4). After boarding, you must also follow the social distancing and contact tracing mechanism executed by the cruise line.

You should sign an undertaking that you will comply with the infection prevention and control measures imposed on-board in accordance with the prevailing legislative requirements and health directions.

Infants has to be at least 6 months old as of the first day of the cruise to be able to go on a 2-or3-night cruise. For 4-night cruises, infant must be at least 12 months old as of the first day of the cruise.

-You can download the Royal App, check-in in advance online and connect to your designated onboard consumption credit card.

14 days before departure
-Guests between 12-17 years old need to complete one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, while 18 years old above need to complete two doses.

2 days before departure
-Accept the COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) nucleic acid test within 48 hours before travel.

24 hours before departure
-Receive a health declaration form from Royal Caribbean, complete and submit it.
Cancel up to 48 hours before you sail and get a future cruise credit valid to book by April 30, 2022 and sail by December 31, 2022, or one year from the original sailing date, whichever is later. For cruises booked on or before October 31st, 2021.
Only relevant port taxes can be refunded.

1. Medical note stating the reason why the guest is not fit for vaccination with doctor’s signature and stamp.(please use sample from HK government: https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/pdf/599FG_letterfrdoctor.pdf)
2. Medical note stating the guest is fit for travel using letterhead paper with doctor’s signature and stamp.
Remark: please email the medical proof with your booking ID to hkdoc@rcclapac.com 14 days prior to sail which should be reviewed by Royal Caribbean Medical Team.

-If the certificate is not approved in the end, the guest can cancel the booking and get a full refund.
-If the certificate is approved, guests need to fill in the letter provided by Royal Caribbean and bring it with them on the day of boarding for verification.
All guests above 6 can only use combined nasal and throat swabs (CNTS) to test for COVID-19, and testing samples must be collected within 48 hours before boarding. For example, if the boarding date is October 24, 2021, the nucleic acid test sample collection time needs to be after 1 pm on October 22, 2021, otherwise it will not be accepted.
No guests can be exempted. Guests under 6 can use stool samples instead of swab samples for testing.
If within 72 hours prior to the passenger's scheduled boarding time, a Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is in force or anticipated to be in force, then the passenger may produce a negative result proof of a PCR nucleic acid test for COVID-19 with the test sample taken within 72 hours (instead of 48 hours) prior to boarding the cruise ship.
The online check-in system will open 30 days before your cruise trip, the website system will close at 18:00 on the day before you cruise, while the APP system will close at 11:30am on the day you cruise.

Royal Caribbean International cannot accept guests who will be more than 23 weeks pregnant at any time during the cruise or CruiseTour.

All guests are required to fill out a Public Health Questionnaire prior to arrival or at the pier attesting that they are not more than 23 weeks pregnant.

- Vaccination record of fully vaccinated more than 14 days prior to departure - COVID-19 RT-PCR test within 48 hours prior to boarding, negative test report (digital report accepted, need to include guest English full name and ID card number)
- Permanent HK ID card or other identification document accepted for HK Cruisecation

Power socket
- Staterooms are equipped with North American standard AC plug outlets, please bring adapters for personal use. (For safety reason, power strips and electrical irons are prohibited in staterooms)
Yes, guests may also bring no more than 12 standard (17 oz.) cans, bottles or cartonsnon-alcoholic beverages as carry-on items on boarding day per stateroom.
On boarding day, guests may bring onboard two (2) 750 ml bottles of personal wine or champagne per stateroom in their carry-on luggage.
Apart from items prohibited by the customs and immigration (please see Government website), below are also prohibited:
- Fresh fruits, meat, diary products, electrical kettle, health care and physical therapy items that are rechargable, high frequency radio walkie-talkie equipment
- Unsealed food and liquids (if you have babies, you can bring some baby products and food, excluding electric milk warmers)

If you don't want to purchase a whole cake, just tell your Main Dining Room waiter about the special occasion and who it's for. Our waiters will sing a birthday / anniversary song - with a slice of cake (based on the daily cake offerings for that evening) and a candle prior to serving you the dinner dessert, free of charge.
There are ATM services onboard and limited currency conversion services. There is a withdrawal fee to use the ATMs onboard.

Guests can disembark after the ship is cleared with the Government's authorization. Guest can disembark latest by 9:00am. Sky, Star Class guests can enjoy priority disembarkation.
